- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Previous experience within revenue cycle, specific to Hospital Inpatient/Outpatient billing.
- Knowledge in Revenue/CPT Code descriptions and ability to write appeals for denials.
- Three years related work experience demonstrating high communication skills and organizational ability.
- Associates degree in a related medical field or business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Knowledge of statutes and CMS regulations impacting patient account collections.
