About the Role
As a Patient Account Representative, you will be responsible for following up on claim submissions, reviewing remittances for insurance collections, and pursuing disputed balances from various entities. You will work independently and as part of a team to resolve accounts, maintain productivity goals, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience.
- Thorough understanding of the revenue cycle process.
Preferred:
- Some college coursework in business administration or accounting.
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance.
