About the Role
As a Part Time Centerville Patient Access Rep I, you will be responsible for entering patient information into the tracking system, verifying insurance details, collecting payments, and assisting patients with financial assistance. You will work night shifts from 2200 to 0600 every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, ensuring a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in patient access functions within a hospital or clinic environment.
- Medical terminology knowledge and experience with diagnostic and procedural coding.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong clerical and computer skills, including basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
Preferred:
- Experience in a complex, multi-site environment.
- HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA certification within one (1) year of hire.
- Customer service experience.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize needs effectively.
