About the Role
As a Paramedic at MercyOne, you will conduct initial and ongoing observations to gather patient data, assist in developing and implementing outcome-based care plans, monitor patient progress, and communicate relevant clinical information to optimize patient outcomes. You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care in emergency situations.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 1-year ambulance or emergency room experience.
- Current certified Iowa EMT-PM or CCP.
- BLS provider certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- PHTLS highly recommended.
- Mandatory Reporter certification.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (NVCI) within 6 months of hire.
Preferred:
- Graduate of an Iowa Paramedic Specialist Course or National Paramedic Course.
