About the Role
As a Paraeducator, you will work closely with special education teachers to assist in the educational development of students with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include providing individualized support, helping with classroom management, and ensuring a safe and productive learning environment. You will also be required to maintain documentation and communicate effectively with teachers and parents.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Documentation of one of the following: an AA degree or higher, 72 quarter or 48 semester credits in 100 level and higher courses, or a passing score on the ETS ParaPro assessment.
Preferred:
- Experience working in public schools or with special education students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
