About the Role
As a Paraeducator, you will assist in implementing educational policies, ensure student safety, follow teacher directives, support students with classwork, maintain student records, and encourage appropriate peer interactions. You will also assist during recess, breaks, and field trips, and help students use technology to access the curriculum while maintaining confidentiality.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalency and ParaPro Certificate.
- Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Effective, active listening skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Two years of experience working with children or young adults in a school setting.
- Fluency in Spanish.
