Atrium Health is seeking a PACT Representative 1 to join their team in Mint Hill, NC. The role involves acting as the first point of contact for customers, providing assistance and support through the Patient Access & Care Team (PACT) services.
About the Role
As a PACT Representative 1, you will be responsible for linking the patient experience between PACT and the practice site, assisting inbound callers, scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and providing customer service according to departmental standards. You will also perform basic technical troubleshooting and maintain knowledge of all information systems utilized by the department.
About You
Required:
- High School Graduate
- 0-1 year experience in a call center, healthcare, or other applicable customer service-related area
- Knowledge of customer service and ability to work with a variety of patients and patient situations
Preferred:
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Basic understanding of computers and desktop software packages
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a variety of customer/patient needs
