Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking an Orthodontics Dental Assistant to join their team in Toledo, OH. The role involves assisting an Orthodontist with various dental procedures and gaining hands-on experience in the field.
About the Role
As an Orthodontics Dental Assistant, you will work closely with a talented Orthodontist, assisting in procedures such as initial impressions for Invisalign or traditional braces, fabrication of retainers, and bracket and wire changes. You will also prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, educate patients on oral hygiene, and manage appointment scheduling.
About You
Required:
- Certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays as per state requirements.
- CPR Certification where applicable.
Preferred:
- Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in dental software and technology.
