About the Role
As an Operating Room Registered Nurse Circulator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures. Your duties will include managing the operating room environment, coordinating with surgical teams, and making independent clinical decisions based on nursing judgment. The ideal candidate will have experience in various surgical specialties and be adept at anticipating the needs of the surgical team.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state of Texas
- BLS, ACLS, and/or PALS certification as required by the center
- Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulating RN in the OR
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and OR protocols
Preferred:
- Experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting
- Familiarity with multiple surgical specialties such as general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology, podiatry, or pain management
- Calm under pressure with excellent critical thinking and time management skills
