About the Role
As an Optometric Technician, you will prepare patients for examinations by gathering their vision and medical history, explain the exam process, and document necessary information. You will work with various clinical instruments, perform contact lens insertion, manage contact lens inventory, administer medications, and assist in patient care and office tasks. You will also prioritize patient flow and communicate effectively with doctors and staff.
About You
Required:
- One to two years of experience in a related field.
- Working knowledge of MS Office package.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
