Summary
Collins Aerospace is seeking an Operations Program Manager (Onsite) to join their team in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role involves acting as the Operations focal for New Product Introduction and ensuring compliance with the Raytheon Lifecycle Program Management system.
About the Role
As an Operations Program Manager, you will participate in Gate Reviews, establish review and transition criteria, create and drive adherence to the Production Plan, oversee Control Account Management Duties, and develop recommendations for cost reduction and process improvement. You will also facilitate program scheduling activities and lead materials and logistics problem resolution, while influencing decisions in a matrixed organization and communicating risks to the program and project plan.
About You
Required:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
Preferred:
- Experience with business and project management tools and procedures.
- Ability to influence development of project objectives and goals.
- SAP proficiency.
- Financial experience.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, team building, change management and team leadership experience.
