About the Role
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all operational activities. Your key responsibilities include developing operational strategies, managing production schedules, overseeing inventory management, implementing quality control measures, and fostering a positive work environment. You will also monitor performance metrics, manage budgets, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or chemical industry setting.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Experience with inventory management and supply chain optimization.
- Experience with safety regulations and compliance, particularly in a chemical environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and other relevant software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
