Summary
Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking an Operations Manager to join their new facility in Dallas, TX. The role involves leading production operations, driving plant readiness, and managing day-to-day execution.
About the Role
As the Operations Manager, you will assist with plant layout, equipment commissioning, and process design during facility start-up. You will recruit, hire, and train the initial production team, lead daily operations including production scheduling, staffing, materials coordination, and efficiency improvements. Additionally, you will drive safety, quality, and throughput targets across all production lines, monitor KPIs, and develop frontline supervisors and production team leaders for long-term growth.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in HVAC or industrial equipment production.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, standard work, and production systems.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt).
Preferred:
- MBA or relevant advanced degree.
- Experience in the data center or HVAC industry.
- Experience supporting a facility start-up or significant operational ramp-up.
