Scout Energy Partners is seeking an Operations Engineer to join their team in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on managing operational aspects of specific fields in the company's portfolio.
About the Role
As an Operations Engineer, you will support day-to-day field operations with technical knowledge, create AFEs and procedures to increase production or decrease operating expenses, monitor production and expenses to identify problems, assist other departments as the primary point of contact for a group of assets, plan and execute workovers, and update and maintain reserves database for annual reserves review. You will also travel as necessary to accomplish these tasks.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in petroleum, mechanical, or other related engineering field.
Minimum 1-5 years of oil and gas experience.
Experience with field operations, workovers, surface facilities, and artificial lift.
Preferred:
Strong communication skills for correspondence with company management, field personnel, and service providers.
Demonstrated proficiency in basic project economics.
Exposure to software such as PHDWin, Rodstar, TAM, Petra.
Experience generating and executing projects in the field.
