Labcorp is seeking an Onsite Lab Support Clerk to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Terre Haute, IN. The role involves performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting, and data entry in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As an Onsite Lab Support Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing laboratory specimens for analysis, communicating effectively with client office staff, troubleshooting customer and specimen issues, and ensuring accurate data entry of patient information. You will also be tasked with identifying and labeling specimens, packing and shipping them to testing facilities, and performing special services as needed.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of relative experience in a lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, warehouse, medical, or healthcare environment.
Preferred:
- Previous medical or patient-facing healthcare experience.
- Strong data entry and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
