About the Role
As an Onsite Interpreter, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, confidential, and impartial interpretation between limited-English-proficient individuals and English speakers. Your duties will include interpreting consecutively and/or simultaneously, adhering to professional ethics, and supporting clients with cultural competence. You will also be required to complete daily logs, timesheets, and activity reports as needed.
About You
Required:
- Fluency in English and at least one other spoken language.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred:
- Minimum of 1 year of professional onsite interpreting experience.
- Medical, legal, or community interpreting certification (CCHI, NBCMI, or court certification) is a plus.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
