School-Based Behavior Consultation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their team in Gas City, IN. The role involves providing occupational therapy services to pediatric clients, focusing on skill development and behavior reduction.
About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating a variety of pediatric diagnoses, including developmental delays and autism. You will collaborate with other professionals to create and implement treatment plans, promote client independence, and document care services. The position requires full-time hours, Monday through Friday, averaging 40+ hours per week.
About You
Required:
- Current state occupational therapist license.
- Minimum of one year of recent work experience as an occupational therapist.
- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
- Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR).
- Experience working with a variety of age groups from birth to adulthood.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working collaboratively with related professionals.
- Demonstrated excellent time-management skills.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Valid Indiana driver’s license.

SBBC provides Center, Home, & School-Based ABA therapy, for Early Learners ages 2-6 and for school-aged learners 6-18+, and Comprehensive Behavior Support through Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation for young adults and beyond.
