About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will be responsible for direct patient care, including administering assessments, treating patients based on the plan of care, and coordinating discharge plans with the multidisciplinary team. You will document patient progress, supervise rehab technicians, and participate in department functions and quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will serve as a clinical instructor for OTA students and advocate for the discipline within the team.
About You
Required:
- Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Current O.T. licensure in the State of Ohio.
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred:
- Field of study in Occupational Therapy.
- Understanding of commonly treated disease processes.
- New graduate with very good references.
