About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist / OT PRN, you will be responsible for performing evaluations, developing treatment plans, and regularly reassessing their effectiveness. You will communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and collaborate with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes. The role requires treating clients in real-life environments, such as their homes and workplaces, rather than in staged settings.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the practicing state.
- Current CPR Certification.
- A minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to patient care.
Preferred:
- Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses.
- Effective communication skills in verbal and written interactions.
