About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for seeing patients, completing charting, calling back patients with lab results, answering patient phone calls, providing patient education, sending prescriptions electronically or by phone, and administering medication. You will work in a part-time clinic-based position, ideally on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with a patient census of up to 16-18 per day. The position may have the potential to become full-time in the future.
About You
Required:
- National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain.
- Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain.
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain.
- CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain.
- Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans.
- Ability to communicate with patients, team members, and management staff.
- Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician.
Preferred:
- One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
