DOCS HEALTH CAREERS is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Park Ridge, IL. The role involves providing health readiness services to military service members primarily on weekends.
About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will partner as an independent contractor to support physical health assessments of military personnel. Your responsibilities will include reviewing health histories, interviewing service members about medical concerns, identifying urgent health issues, and documenting results in medical records. You will work under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) and may need to travel to various locations, including remote military installations.
About You
Required:
- Active NP license in the state.
- CPR/BLS Certification.
Preferred:
- Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health.
- Experience with mobile medical services.
- Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills.
Benefits
