Avel eCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Senior Care to join their team remotely. The role involves providing medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician, focusing on geriatric populations.
About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner in Senior Care, you will evaluate patients' physical, mental, psychosocial, and developmental needs, perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, manage acute and chronic conditions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. You will also assist in developing new services and protocols, document care processes, and ensure patient-centered care.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Master’s or Doctorate degree.
- Licensed as a nurse practitioner and Registered Nurse with one unrestricted state license.
- Active Federal DEA and State CSR certification (if applicable).
Preferred:
- One or more years of experience in geriatrics, internal medicine, or nursing home settings.
- Experience with geriatric populations.
