About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care for patients of all ages in collaboration with center physicians. You will adhere to service standards, maintain accurate patient records, and participate in professional development activities. This position requires effective communication with patients and staff, and you will report to the Regional Medical Director or Area Clinical Operations Director.
About You
Required:
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.
- Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current DEA registration.
- Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
- Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs.
- BLS certification.
Preferred:
- Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other employees.
