The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Night Shift Brake Technician to join their team in Renton, WA. The role involves servicing delivery vans and performing various automotive maintenance tasks.
About the Role
As a Night Shift Brake Technician, you will be responsible for servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site. Your daily tasks will include performing line technician services such as oil changes, tire services, routine inspections, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges, and tire installations. You will also have the opportunity to learn and train for advanced repairs and state inspections, with initial training potentially taking place in a customer retail environment.
About You
Required:
Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
Valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
ASE Certification(s).
Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests, electrical, air conditioning, and primary and advanced fuel ignition experience.
