Summary

Magellan Federal is seeking a New Parent Support Home Visitor, LCSW/LMFT from any state, RN/BSN to join their team in Fort Meade, Maryland. The role involves providing support to military families with expectant parents and parents of children from birth to 3 years of age.

About the Role

As a New Parent Support Home Visitor, you will provide effective, timely, and confidential services to families at risk for child maltreatment and/or family violence. Your responsibilities will include assessing developmental milestones, promoting parenting skills, facilitating community networks, and utilizing community-based services to support families in crisis. You will also maintain case tracking systems and participate in training events.

About You

Required:

At least two (2) years of direct work experience in child abuse or domestic abuse, or maternal or child health or medical social work.
Current and active license as an LCSW, LMFT, or RN.
Home visitation experience.
Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Preferred:

Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling.
Working knowledge of basic computer skills and Microsoft Office programs.
