About the Role
As an Associate Attorney, you will run a varied defense docket, take and defend depositions, brief and argue motions, and collaborate with trial teams on complex matters. You will gain real trial experience and client-facing responsibilities, with opportunities for mentorship and training.
About You
Required:
- 3-4+ years litigation experience in insurance defense or civil litigation; med-mal experience is ideal.
- Courtroom exposure, dispositive motion practice, deposition experience, and expert work.
Preferred:
- Candidates with ~2 years from a med-mal shop at a small/mid-size firm.
- PI-plaintiff lawyers with strong medical records/injury experience are welcome to pivot.
Benefits
- Base salary up to $160k depending on experience.
- Bonus typically 15%-18% of base based on performance.
