About the Role
As a Neurophysiology (EMG) Technologist II, you will be responsible for conducting nerve conduction studies, preparing patients for testing, and ensuring accurate documentation of results. You will collaborate with physicians and staff to modify testing as needed, train less experienced technologists, and contribute to quality improvement projects within the department.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent education.
- Graduate of an accredited electro-neurodiagnostic technology program.
- Three years of experience in a clinic and/or hospital setting performing electrodiagnostic procedures.
- BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA).
- Certification as either a CNCT - Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (ABEM) or RNCST - Registered Nerve Conduction Technologist (AAET).
Preferred:
- Advanced knowledge of neurodiagnostic procedures and equipment.
- Experience in training and mentoring staff.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
