About the Role
As an MRI Technologist I, you will perform routine MRI exams and procedures on patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. You will be responsible for acquiring and reviewing patient information, performing MRI procedures, educating patients, operating MRI scanners, and maintaining equipment. This role requires working various shifts, including weekends, in a PRN capacity.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT.
- Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists [R.T.(R) (ARRT), R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(T)(ARRT)] in good standing OR Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists [R.T.(N) (ARRT)] OR Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging [R.T.(MR)(ARRT)] Certification within one year of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes.
Preferred:
- One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist or in other imaging modalities.
