About the Role
The Mortgage Loan Processor will self-manage a pipeline of 25-35 loans, calculate complex income streams, assist in restructuring loan files, prioritize daily workflow to meet closing dates, adhere to SLAs for pipeline management, order and verify required documentation, monitor rate locks and manage Change of Circumstances for re-disclosures, follow up on Pre-Funding and Post-Closing Audits, provide excellent customer service, communicate file status to all transaction parties, mentor junior processors, and perform other assigned duties.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of five years of mortgage loan processing experience.
- Proficiency in various computer software applications and ability to adopt new technology.
- Working knowledge of mortgage residential loan workflow from origination to post-closing.
- Basic accounting and mathematical skills.
- Ability to multitask and work successfully in a fast-paced environment meeting critical deadlines.
- Excellent verbal customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with proven time and pipeline management.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities.
- Focus on quality and understanding of regulation/compliance requirements.
- Commitment to a positive customer experience (internal and external).
Preferred:
- Retail channel experience partnering with MLOs, Operations, Underwriters, Regional Managers, and Bank Executives.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- A sales mindset.
