About the Role
As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for driving to various client facilities, primarily nursing homes, to perform blood draws. You will ensure proper patient identification, specimen labeling, and adherence to phlebotomy policies. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records, work cooperatively with other departments, and manage your schedule effectively.
About You
Required:
- Current clinical Licensure as required by State.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to laboratory purposes.
- Proficient in phlebotomy procedures, including venipuncture and specimen preservation.
- Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.
- Access to a reliable vehicle suitable for daily driving requirements.
- Good driving record.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and maintain accurate time sheets.
- Understanding of resident rights and patient care.
Preferred:
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
