About the Role
As a MIG/TIG Lead Weld Technician, you will be responsible for performing MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel parts. Your daily tasks will include reading and interpreting blueprints, setting up and operating welding machines, inspecting welds for quality and safety, and maintaining a clean work area. You will collaborate with team members to meet production timelines and document work for quality assurance.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training in welding preferred.
- 2+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Proficient with stainless steel and aluminum welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.
Preferred:
- AWS certifications are a plus but not required.
