About the Role
As a Mental Health Worker, you will report directly to the Mental Health Services Supervisor and be responsible for implementing programming tailored to the age-specific needs of residents. You will work in a residential setting, requiring flexibility in scheduling and the ability to make sound judgments regarding resident safety. The position may involve physical demands such as lifting and crisis intervention.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid PA driver's license.
Preferred:
- College courses in the Humanities or Social Sciences.
- Two years of experience working with mentally handicapped individuals.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
