YMCA of Honolulu is seeking a Member Service Representative to join their team in Honolulu, HI. The role involves providing a wide scope of customer services including membership and program sales, facility monitoring, and assisting members in reaching their health and wellness goals.
About the Role
As a Member Service Representative, you will be responsible for various customer service duties, including monitoring and cleaning the Healthy Lifestyles Center, supporting registration for childcare programs, and fostering strong connections with members. You will report directly to the Member Services Coordinator and/or Executive Director.
About You
Required:
At least half a year documented customer service experience and/or health/fitness experience.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to pass CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and other mandatory training.
Preferred:
Understanding of group work processes and program development.
Strong management and supervisory skills.
Knowledge of program fiscal management.
