Platinum Communities is seeking a Medication Technician for the 1st Shift (Every Other Weekend) to join their team in Oak Creek, WI. The role involves providing high-quality personal care and managing the distribution of resident medications.
About the Role
As a Medication Technician, you will be responsible for delivering personal care services to residents as directed by the Administrator. Your duties will include supporting residents' personal choices while adhering to regulations and best practices, as well as managing and distributing medications according to established policies. This position may require working every other weekend and scheduled holidays.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, speak and write in English.
- Flexible and available to work beyond regularly scheduled hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must have or be willing to obtain CBRF/RCAC certifications as needed.
- Ability to learn new technology.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred:
- 1-year experience as a caregiver/med tech in a CBRF/RCAC environment.
