Summary

Nuvance Health is seeking a Medical Practice LPN for the Gastroenterology Department in Norwalk, CT. The role involves assisting the physician or APRN in providing medical care to patients.

About the Role

As a Medical Practice LPN, you will prepare materials and patients for medical exams, obtain patient histories and vital signs, provide direct patient care, collect and analyze specimens, instruct patients on preventive care, and maintain compliance with practice standards. You will also perform organizational responsibilities to support the practice's mission and model Nuvance Health's foundational values.

About You

Required:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting.
Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
Computer skills/data entry.
Skilled in obtaining accurate patient vitals.
Vaccine administration and medication preparation.

Preferred:

Minimum Experience: one year.
Proficiency in multiple languages.
Phlebotomy.
EKG.
