Summary
Health First is seeking a Medical Informaticist- Clinical Informatics to join their team in Rockledge, FL. The role involves collaborating with the business to design, test, implement, and optimize clinical and business information systems.
About the Role
As a Medical Informaticist, you will act as a liaison between provider operations and the Epic project team, addressing operational challenges and developing effective solutions. You will manage intake requests for optimization, participate in testing and validation of systems, provide hands-on support to provider staff, and ensure maximum use and efficiency of clinical and business systems. Additionally, you will assist in the development of training tools and programs for department staff.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- Four (4) years of allied healthcare, informatics, or IT experience.
- Licensed Allied Health Professional (i.e., RN, RD, RT, MA, EMT, etc.).
- Epic certified or accredited within six (6) months of start date.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, presentation, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in relevant field.
- Acute, ambulatory, ancillary, or revenue cycle experience.
- Epic certified.
- Informatics certified.
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
