About the Role
The Medical Assistant will collaborate with a team to manage up to 40 patients daily, document patient histories, assist with dermatological and cosmetic procedures such as biopsies, Botox, laser treatments, and surgeries, administer local anesthesia, remove sutures, ensure sterile techniques, perform scribing duties, process prescription refills, log pathology samples, operate specialized equipment, maintain supplies, and adhere to infection control protocols.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years of medical assistant experience, preferably in dermatology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- Previous experience specifically in dermatology medical assisting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented work ethic.
