About the Role
As a Medical Assistant Float, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients, accurately recording patient history and vitals, assisting providers with examinations and procedures, and managing demographic and financial information. You will also collect co-pays, verify insurance eligibility, and ensure compliance with payment policies.
About You
Required:
- GED or Higher School Diploma
- Completion of medical assistant program, State of TN LPN license, or 2+ years' experience working in a medical office setting.
- Ability to work 12-hour/9-hour shifts, including weekends.
Preferred:
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Experience in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
