About the Role
As a Medical Assistant-Certified, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments, updating patient information in EPIC, and taking vital signs. Your contributions will support the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infections in patients.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants or completion of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
- Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant with clinical skills including obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- 6 months of healthcare experience.
- 6 months of medical assistant experience.
Preferred:
- National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
