About the Role
As a Medical Assistant - Orthopedics, you will be responsible for assisting with patient examinations, procedures, diagnostic studies, treatment, and dressing changes. Your daily tasks will include preparing visit charts, rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, conducting tests, administering medications, and managing clinical supplies. You will also perform administrative duties in accordance with healthcare standards and company policies.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or Certification as an EMT or Combat Medic required.
Preferred:
- One (1) to three (3) years medical assistant experience preferred.
- Medical Assistant Certification/ABR-OE strongly recommended.
- Computer/EMR experience preferred.
