About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for scheduling and following up with patients, delivering care as ordered by the Provider, and implementing health education initiatives. You will coordinate care delivery with pharmacy services and referral networks, communicate barriers to effective care, and maintain relationships with staff, providers, and the community. The position may require travel to local locations.
About You
Required:
- Certified Medical Assistant (Licensed MA's preferred)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from Red Cross or American Heart Association
Preferred:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
