Summary
BJC HealthCare is seeking a Medical Assistant (REG) to join their team in Belleville, Illinois. The role involves providing medical assistance under the direction of a physician or other licensed provider.
About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for cleaning, preparing, and stocking supplies in exam rooms, obtaining vital signs and patient history, performing clinical skills such as phlebotomy and EKGs, and triaging calls while providing test results to patients. You will work full-time, Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:15 pm and Fridays from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm, with no weekends or holidays required.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certification/Registration in Area of Expertise
Preferred:
- Less than 2 years of experience in a medical assistant role
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification
