About the Role
As a Medical Assistant (PRN), you will be responsible for obtaining EKGs, vital signs, and oxygen saturations on patients, conducting general clinical assessments, and reporting findings to physicians or nurses. You will assist with patient discharges, prepare test packets, maintain inventory of clinical supplies, and provide operation and troubleshooting of clinical equipment.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant training required; certification a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare experience; pediatric or family practice preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Basic medical knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
Preferred:
- EMR/EPIC experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through discipline.
