About the Role
As a Medical Assistant (MA) - Pain Management, you will be responsible for reviewing and updating health records, measuring vital signs, preparing treatment rooms for examinations, and providing excellent customer service to patients. You will also perform clerical duties, troubleshoot problems, and assist with various tasks as assigned.
About You
Required:
- High School Degree or GED
- Active Medical Assisting certification from an accredited organization (CMA, RMA, CCMA, etc.)
- BLS Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred:
- One year of medical assistant healthcare experience
- Two years of clerical experience in a physician's office
- Strong problem-solving skills and basic computer skills
