About the Role
As a Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist, you will be responsible for credentialing and privileging services for medical staff applicants and their advanced practice employees. You will ensure compliance with The Joint Commission standards, CMS regulations, and state and federal laws. Your daily tasks will include coordinating credentialing processes, analyzing applications, and maintaining accurate records while working in a detail-oriented manner.
About You
Required:
- High school degree or equivalent experience.
- Five years experience in medical staff credentialing.
Preferred:
- CPCS or CPMSM certification.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
