About the Role
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted service delivery for municipal clients. Your tasks will include preventive maintenance on buildings, machinery, and equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions, and performing plumbing and welding tasks. You will also maintain safety standards and keep accurate maintenance records.
About You
Required:
- One year of experience in the maintenance of wastewater treatment plants or similar maintenance experience.
- A valid Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) certification or ability to obtain within 3 years of hire.
- Proficiency in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- A valid driver’s license with no major infractions.
Preferred:
- Forklift experience.
- Experience in serving municipal utility clients.
- Knowledge of safe work practices.
