Summary
Evergreen Healthcare Group is seeking a MDS Coordinator Nurse to join their team in Carson City, NV. The role involves conducting and coordinating the development and completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), including the Minimum Data Set (MDS), Care Area Assessments (CAAs), and Care Plans in accordance with State and Federal requirements.
About the Role
As a MDS Coordinator Nurse, you will participate as part of the Nursing Center Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) for Medicare management. Your essential functions will include coordinating the IDT in timely completion of assessments, utilizing the MDS Scheduler to plan and set MDS Assessment Reference Dates (ARDs), completing Care Area Assessments (CAAs), and monitoring documentation in the medical record to validate MDS coding.
About You
Required:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the State of Employment.
- Computer aptitude with the EMR for this position.
Preferred:
- Two years’ experience working in a long-term care.
- Experience with Residence Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and MDS certification.
- Point Click Care (PCC) experience.
