About the Role
As a Staff Product Designer, you will be responsible for defining the future of mobile capture experiences, designing user-friendly interfaces for both consumers and professional users. You will lead mobile design efforts, shape product strategy, and ensure seamless integration with Matterport's hardware. This role requires solving complex interaction challenges and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive experiences across platforms.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or related field; Master's degree or PhD a plus.
- 8+ years of professional design experience.
- Advanced experience in mobile UX/UI design for consumer-facing and professional products.
- Proven track record of delivering polished, scalable mobile designs.
Preferred:
- 4+ years focused on iOS and Android mobile app design.
- Experience working on hardware-software workflows (e.g., cameras, IoT devices).
