About the Role
As a Math Expert Teacher (Instructional Coach), you will be responsible for supporting the continual development of all teachers, enhancing instructional practices, and implementing district priorities. Your daily tasks will include collaborating with the Academic Department, facilitating professional development, leading teacher collaboration, and providing intervention support to students. You will work closely with teachers to ensure their instruction is engaging, academically rigorous, and culturally responsive.
About You
Required:
- At least five years of full-time K-12 relevant teaching experience.
- Possess or able to obtain a Professional Massachusetts teaching license in the content area assigned MATH 8-12.
- A Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
Preferred:
- Experience as a teacher leader or Instructional Coach.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
- Experience in urban education.
Benefits
- Annual base salary of $85,000.
