About the Role
As a Materials Planner, you will be responsible for executing material planning activities, collaborating with suppliers for timely delivery, issuing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, creating demand forecasts, and supporting procurement efforts. You will also handle quality issues with suppliers and prioritize customer care.
About You
Required:
- Proven experience as a Material Planner/Expeditor or a similar role for at least 2 years.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices in an Engineer to Order manufacturing environment (ETO).
- Proficiency in using ERP/SAP R/3 or R/4 system (MUST) and proficient in MS Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluent in English is a must.
